The adventure of adventures-our most ambitious tour
Discover the world’s second largest, but most unexplored island! Through three different types of nature; the mangrove swamps, where you visit the villages by canoe; the highland where you trek between the villages and a marine national park, where you visit the island by boat. The tour takes you to the province Papua, a part of Indonesia since 1968, the Papuans are united in their wish to be free from the Indonesian regime.

Pollytarius (Polly) Born in 1971. Started at Study Tours in 1990 as a very young interpreter. Polly recently relocated to from Borneo to Jakarta. He is engaged in organisations that work for eco-tourism.
