If you're interested in the history of China this is the tour for you. You will visit several historic cities along the former trade route; Xian with its 2 000 year old Terracotta army, Jiayguan where the Great wall ends and Dunhuang that was one of the most important trade junctions along the Silk road. Turpan is also interesting because it is the second lowest land point on the earth. You will also visit tibetan and muslim areas with cultures very differentthe Han-chinese.

Hua TiezhengBorn 1957. Has worked with Study Tours since 1990 and is one of our most experienced tour leaders. Hua holds a university degree in English. He lives in Xian in the Shaanxi province and has visited Sweden several times. His interests are music and nature.
