From the ocean to the desert
Morocco beyond the stereotypes welcomes you as you participate in families' daily life! The tour goes by scheduled buses and country road taxis from Tangier over the Atlas Mountains, where you also trek, on to a camel ride into the desert near the Algerian border. Back west to the Atlantic Ocean and some easy days in the port town Essaouira. You finish the tour in famous and exciting Marrakesh!
During tour in June you paricipate in the Gnaoua festival (famous music festival) when you stay in Essaouira. Flights to Morrocco are not expensive

Mounir Naji and Boujemaa BoudaoudMounir Naji (left) was born 1978. Studied law and tourism. Mounir is Berb and speaks Tamazight. He has his family in Azrou, but resides in Agadir.
Boujemaa Boudaoud (right) was born 1971. Mountain guide with 20 years of experience. Boujemaa is Berb and speaks all Berb dialects. Married and lives in Azrou. He was brought up in Sahara.
