Letter from Hamisi, Tanzania

Hamisi is our tourleader in Tanzania. In his report from the last tour I got very happy to read his praise for the Läs och Res philosophy, which I got his permission to publish.

Christian Jutvik Hamisi writes: Philosophical approach of the company is very much impressive as it considers the interests of the local people in important aspects, socially, economically and politically. One important point is the emphasis on villages / countryside. When staying with local people, the travellers get an opportunity to discussvarious issues pertaining to culture, enviromental conservation and poverty alleviation.

This is a new arena to local people in the countryside because they are not used to see foreigners coming, staying, eating and sharing ideas with them without forgetting to building of friendship. Indeed, this is a SOCIAL REVOLUTION to local people of Tanzania.
